Online Resource Helps Improve Outcomes for Children Living with Asthma
(Nyack, NY) January, 26, 2012 – Liqui-Site Designs Inc. announced today the launch of a new website at www.hudsonvalleyasthma.org for Hudson Valley Asthma Coalition, a division of the American Lung Association in New York.
Hudson Valley Asthma Coalition (HVAC) is a consortium of professionals and community members who work to improve the management of asthma among children in Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan, and Westchester counties in New York State. Their mission is to improve asthma outcomes in children and lower the need for asthma-related hospitalizations, emergency department visits, and school absences.
HVAC provides resources and implements projects that serve to enhance the capacity of medical professionals and schools to offer state-of-the-art, evidence-based asthma education and treatment. Membership is comprised of physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, public health professionals, parents, and individuals in the Hudson Valley.
Liqui-Site Designs was charged with rebranding the organization with a new identity, as well as developing a user-friendly web presence that would enable schools and nurses, child care centers, parents and families, and clinical providers the ability to easily find the asthma-related information they seek online.
